Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website or services. By accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These Terms & Conditions govern your dealings with Christensen Copenhagen Pty Ltd ('we', 'us', 'our' and 'Christensen Copenhagen'). By using or accessing our services and/or site, you agree to all terms herein. If you do not agree, you are not permitted to use the services and/or site. We may update these Terms from time to time — it is your responsibility to review them regularly.
Applicable Law & JurisdictionOur services and your use of the site are governed in all respects by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales in relation to any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to the site and/or services.

While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, suitability or reliability of the content. Any reliance you place on the information is at your own risk. We reserve the right to correct errors and update information at any time without notice.
Due to variations in individual screen calibrations, product delivered may vary slightly in colour from product shown on screen.
User RepresentationsBy using our site you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and are legally entitled to enter into a binding agreement with us.
Products and services displayed on our site are an invitation to treat and are not a contractual offer for sale. When you place an order, it is an offer to purchase under these terms. We may in our sole discretion reject your offer for any reason.
Products in your cart are not reserved until the purchase process is completed. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of price. Orders are confirmed only once full payment is received along with your name, contact details, billing address, and a valid payment method you are authorised to use.
You must review your order carefully before placing it. Orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed. We may cancel orders if a product cannot be fulfilled, in which case we will issue a full refund. We will not be liable for any loss arising from cancellation.
We will use best endeavours to meet stated delivery timeframes, however many factors beyond our control can affect these and we cannot guarantee delivery within quoted timeframes.
Prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST. Prices are subject to change and no price adjustments will be made on confirmed orders.
If a pricing error occurs on an item you have ordered, we will notify you immediately and offer the option to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel. If we cannot reach you, the order will be cancelled and refunded in full.
We do not guarantee availability of an item until the order has been dispatched. If an item is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
All transactions are processed in AUD. No orders will be dispatched until valid payment has been received in full.
We accept payment via all major credit and debit cards. We may contact you to verify personal details linked to a transaction before dispatching your order should our payment gateway flag a transaction as potentially fraudulent.
We may offer items on markdown from time to time. Marked down items are offered for a limited time or while stocks last, and prices are subject to change at our discretion.
Sale items purchased in our boutique are final sale and cannot be returned. Sale items purchased online at up to and including 30% off may be exchanged or returned for a three-month store credit, provided they are unworn and returned in original condition. Sale items purchased online at over 30% off, or with a double discount applied, are final sale and cannot be returned.
No price adjustments are available on items entering markdown that were purchased at full price where this occurred two or more days prior to markdown. For items purchased at full price within 2 days of markdown, we will issue a store credit for the difference.
During markdown periods, dispatch may be slightly delayed due to order volume. If your order is urgent, please opt for Express Shipping or include a note at checkout.
Discount CodesFrom time to time we may offer promotional discounts. Any promotional codes may have special conditions clearly stated at the time of issue. Only one promotional or discount code may be used per transaction. We reserve the right to reject orders using a discount code. Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes are valid only on full-priced items.
Orders are processed the following business day. During sale or promotional periods, please allow an additional 3 business days. Please ensure the shipping address entered is correct — we are unable to redirect orders once dispatched.
Purchases are not dispatched until billing details are confirmed by your card issuer. We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank but will ship your order promptly upon payment confirmation.

AustraliaComplimentary standard shipping on all Australian orders over $750. Flat rate standard shipping of $15 on orders under $750. Express shipping available at a flat rate of $25. All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. Free shipping does not apply to sale items.
InternationalWe ship internationally via Australia Post and UPS. Complimentary shipping to New Zealand on orders over NZD $850. Flat rate of NZD $35 for New Zealand orders under NZD $850. All other international destinations attract a flat rate of $50 AUD.
International purchases may incur duties and taxes upon arrival in the destination country. Any such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and cannot be refunded in the event of a return.
Full-priced items purchased online are eligible for a refund, store credit, or exchange provided they are returned within 14 days of receipt in the same condition as purchased, with all tags, packaging, dust bags, and shoe boxes intact.
Full Price Items — In StoreFull-priced items purchased in store may be returned for store credit or exchange within 7 days of purchase in original condition with all tags and packaging. We do not offer refunds on in-store purchases as you have had the opportunity to try on the item before purchase.
Sale ItemsSale items purchased in store are final sale. Sale items purchased online at up to and including 30% off may be exchanged or returned for a three-month store credit, provided they are unworn and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Sale items over 30% off are final sale and cannot be returned.
Swimwear, Earrings & Gift CardsFor hygiene reasons, returns cannot be accepted on swimwear or earrings. Once processed, gift cards are ineligible for return or refund.
How to Return an Online Purchase- 1.Email us to request a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) within 7 days of receipt. Once issued, you have 7 days to return the item(s).
- 2. Securely pack item(s) in original packaging with your RAN included. Post to the address below. Return shipping is at the customer's expense. We recommend registered post with tracking and insurance as we are not liable for loss or damage in transit.

- 3.Once your return is received and approved, you will be notified within 2 business days and your refund, credit, or exchange will be processed.
Successfully returned items will be credited to the original payment method, less any taxes or import duties. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
Receiving Your RefundRefunds are processed to the original payment method within 2 business days of receipt. Please allow 3–10 business days for the refund to appear on your account — this timeframe is determined by your payment provider. If a gift card was used, the balance will be restored for future use.
Receiving a Store CreditCredits on sale items are valid for 3 months from date of issue. Credits on full-priced items are valid for 12 months. All credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
ExchangesWe offer exchanges on full-priced items and sale items purchased at up to 30% off, subject to availability. If we cannot fulfil your exchange, we will offer a refund (where applicable), store credit, or alternative item. Return shipping is at your expense. Outbound shipping for the exchange will be invoiced prior to dispatch.
Christensen Copenhagen gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and may be used both in store and online.
Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash and are not transferable. We are not responsible if a gift card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission.
If your transaction total is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance will stay on the card until expiry. If the total exceeds the card value, the difference must be paid by another valid payment method.
Only one gift card may be redeemed per transaction online; multiple gift cards may be used in store. Items purchased with a gift card may be exchanged or returned for a store credit of equal value — no cash refund is available.
When purchasing gift cards online, please ensure correct recipient details are entered as we are not liable for delivery to an incorrect address or email.
Discount or promotional codes cannot be applied to the purchase of gift cards.
If you receive an item you believe to be faulty, please contact our customer care team within 7 days of receipt. If we assess the item and determine it to be faulty, we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund at our election. Items damaged as a result of wear and tear or incorrect garment care are not considered faulty.
We are an authorised and approved retailer of all brands and goods displayed on our site. The authenticity of every item available for purchase is guaranteed.
We offer an in-store layby service at our Double Bay boutique. The following terms apply in addition to our general terms.
- Items may be placed on layby with a minimum deposit of 30% of the total purchase price. Payments on the balance must be made on a weekly basis.
- The layby must be paid in full within six weeks of the deposit date.
- Laybys may be changed or cancelled within 7 days of creation with a full credit note issued. Cancellations after 7 days will result in forfeiture of the initial 30% deposit; any amounts paid above this will be refunded.
- Final payment must be made at our boutique to collect your layby goods.
Overdue laybys are a breach of these terms and may be cancelled by us. The item(s) will be returned to stock and the initial 30% deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee. Any amount paid above the deposit will be refunded.
ExclusionsLayby is not available on sale items or gift card purchases. No price adjustment is available on items in a layby. Items from completed laybys cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
This website contains content owned by or licensed to Christensen Copenhagen, including but not limited to our logo and trademark, brand partner trademarks, product and editorial imagery, design, layout, and graphics.
All material is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights. You must not reproduce, copy, transmit, or use any content without our prior written consent.
We maintain social media accounts across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. We encourage engagement but users are not permitted to post content that is defamatory, discriminatory, inflammatory, indecent, racist, or false. Any such content will be removed.
Ownership of all products is retained by us until payment is received in full, including delivery charges. Title and risk in the products passes to you when the goods are delivered to the courier service.
All packages sent by us are insured at our expenseand signature upon delivery is required. In the event an order is not delivered due to loss or fault of the delivery company, we will replace the item, provide a refund, or issue a gift card for the full amount depending on the original terms of sale.
When returning items to us, it is your responsibility to ensure items are sent via registered post with tracking. In the event a return is not delivered, you will be responsible for any resulting losses.
While accessing our site or using our services you may not:
- attempt to breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures;
- access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of our site or services;
- access or search the site by any automated means other than through our published interface;
- scrape the site for content or information;
- use our site to send deceptive or false information, or use our content to mislead or solicit information from anyone; or
- interfere with or attempt to interfere with the access of any user by sending a virus, spamming, or overloading our site.
This Privacy Policy describes how Christensen Copenhagen collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from our site. By using our services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any revised policy on our site and update the "Last updated" date.

User Generated ContentIf you submit reviews or other public content to our site, that content will be publicly accessible. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of information you choose to make public.
Third Party LinksOur site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of those sites. We recommend reviewing their policies before providing any information.
Children's DataOur services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information about children. If you are a parent or guardian of a child who has provided us their information, please contact us to request deletion. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Security & RetentionWe take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, however no security measures are perfect. We recommend you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive information. Your financial information is never retained by us — all transactions are processed securely with data encryption. ComplaintsIf you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or your local data protection authority.
International UsersWe may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside the country you live in, including the United States. If we transfer personal information out of Europe, we will rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition as received — unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please contact us at info@christensencopenhagen.com to receive a Returns Authority Number (RA) and the returns address. Returning items to us is at the customer's expense — please choose carefully. We are not liable for any loss or damage to items in transit and recommend sending via registered post with tracking and insurance.
Damages & IssuesPlease inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions & Non-Returnable ItemsCertain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods, custom or personalised products, and personal care goods. We also do not accept returns on hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please contact us if you have questions about a specific item.
ExchangesThe fastest way to exchange an item is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union — 14-Day Cooling Off PeriodIf merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. Your item must be in the same condition as received — unworn, unused, with tags and original packaging — and you will need your receipt or proof of purchase.
RefundsWe will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and advise whether the refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us at info@christensencopenhagen.com.
